For the past two and a half years, I decided to explore, discover new people and cultures… let myself try something new and also dedicate myself to a journey of self-knowledge. So I went to Australia with the mindset of not planning much. Just let it happen. During my first year in Australia I held a Working Holiday Visa (this visa allowed me just to work and live in the country). I started working as a dishwasher in a famous café located in Gold Coast, it wasn’t an easy job, but I could support myself through all the time I’ve spent there and also visit some close by countries such as Indonesia, Thailand and New Zealand.After the first year I felt the need of improving my professional skills so when I got back to Brazil I would have an overseas degree with a brand new perspective of the subject. The first course I graduated in was Leadership and management the second was Business, both of this courses showed me different approaches of a large range of topics.Now that I’m back in Brazil I can say that I don’t regret this decision, some people can think that I lost a lot of time that could’ve used to improve my professional career, but, all the experiences I had lived and how I’ve grown as a person is priceless, and I’m certain that now I’m ready to accomplish anything.
