Latisha Younger-Canon works at the forefront of customer experience (CX) across nearly all aspects of the energy industry. She is deeply invested in understanding what makes customers and clients tick, how to draw out feedback, find actionable solutions, and solve real-world problems.Her experience in energy covers both regulatory and non-regulatory utility operations. She is an expert in demand-side management (DSM) programs having worked extensively in program evaluation, design, and implementation for more than 30 utility clients. Currently, she spends her time leading business development efforts tied to customer programs and initiatives, overseeing delivery operations for large scale utility projects, and managing a team of over 50 staff members. Ms. Younger-Canon is a Director with Guidehouse (formerly Navigant). She is an expert in survey research, in addition to having extensive experience with in-depth interviews, logic modeling, text analysis, data visualization, and customer journey mapping. She has worked across a variety of research projects involving a multitude of program types, both residential and commercial and industrial, for numerous utilities across the country. Through this work, she has established expertise in developing survey batteries designed to assess satisfaction, free-ridership, market effects, and spillover for a variety of audiences.Before joining Navigant, Ms. Younger-Canon worked at Opinion Dynamics, where she conducted both process and impact evaluations across a range of energy efficiency programs. Her work included residential baseline studies, market segmentation studies, and cross-cutting evaluations, in addition to developing strategies for targeting specific participant and trade ally populations for study. At the Center for Urban Initiatives and Research at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, she helped clients in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors to evaluate and improve their programs. Work here included bench-marking studies and stakeholder engagement analysis. Ms. Younger-Canon is a Ph.D. candidate in Political Science at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where she taught survey research courses and worked across a variety of program evaluations for private, government, and non-profit organizations, in addition to holding a Master's degree in Political Science from Western Illinois University. She has taught Navigant’s Evaluating Energy course for both colleagues and clients utilizing her background as a Six Sigma Green Belt.
