Growing up, I knew I wanted to be a Nurse. After getting my nursing degree, I joined our local hospital as an RN. I realized that there were many nursing roles other than direct bedside treatment and that I had a knack for collaborating across care teams to make sure there was a comprehensive plan for each patient. I’ve worked for a few different companies, one of which where I functioned on three different positions for 13 years as an Executive Assistant, Head Nurse and Import-Export In-charge. There I learned how to be an excellent communicator especially among foreign clients and bosses, be well-organized and detail oriented. I also had the chance to work part-time for 9 years as a Social Media In-charge, Researcher and Data Entry Encoder for a cruise line agency based in Texas, USA. Then I became a School Nurse and College Instructor in a University who’s responsible for the health and safety guidelines and implementation of employees/students within the school. Currently, I am with DrCatalyst as a Remote Staff-Receptionist (inbound/outbound calls), Payment Processing and Document Management. These companies I’ve worked with had consistently given me a feedback to be reliable and a self-starter despite some stressful situations. I’m drawn to this position because I believe my strength and patient advocate role is a natural fit combined with my medical knowledge would make me an asset.
