I have a combination of experiences teaching and supporting educators with STEAM/makerspace lessons and educational/instructional technology. I have over eighteen years of experience as a Technology Integration Specialist, over fifteen years presenting at state and national conferences, and five years of experience teaching online courses to educators from around the nation. I have received several awards and grants over the years such as the $10,000 to support Computer Science endeavors from Code.org, First Book STEAM grant, Internet2 Community Distance Learning Scholarship Grant, CT NASA Space Program grant, Public, Educational and Governmental Programming and Educational Technology Investment Account grant and more. I have obtained certifications from ISTE, Google, Boxlight/Mimio, Pear Deck, SMART Technologies, and CILC. I recently became a Master Teacher of Invention Education and Intellectual Property through STEMisED and USPTO.
