Worked remotely with the Connecticut Historical Society's Digitization Lab to transcribe two French & Indian War journals. Read and deciphered 18th century handwriting and language and ultimately created two transcriptions that now aid in accessibility to these historic texts.

Assisted the Curator of Textiles by interpreting, transcribing, and contextualizing 17th century probate records. Researched and cataloged museum objects for an upcoming 2020 gallery installation, provided physical descriptions and a broader context for the children’s shoes in the Historic Deerfield. Hand sew identification labels onto archival textiles and practiced preventative conservation techniques.

Accessioned new objects into the collection by updating the metadata via ArchivesSpace and assisted in reflagging a large portion of the collection by shelf reading and cutting and sizing flags. Rehoused approximately 10 objects per week in need of stabilization.

Assessed and stabilized over 300 books in Smith College's Mortimer Rare Book Collection. Specialized in rare book conservation, assessed books on a case by case basis for current and potential damage. Worked with materials such as binders board, cotton tape, standard and custom book boxes to stabilize books. Shelf read and shifted books in both Library of Congress and Dewey Decimal systems and in Mini, Standard, Oversize, and Flat sizes.
