As a Community Engagement Associate for UNICEF USA, it is my role to engage and collaborate with my community to advance the awareness and adoption of Child Rights within the United States, and globally. UNICEF USA works in support of UNICEF Global; both are invested in advancing the rights of the child through advocacy in legislation, community organizing, education, and partnership. In my role, I work regionally with UNICEF clubs, manage regional youth representatives, support activation in legislative processes, and build general awareness regarding UNICEF and its mission through trainings and educational programming. I am passionate about building long-lasting relationships with values-aligned individuals and organizations as they relate to advocacy, human rights, child rights, equity, and justice.
