As the front desk Cordinator my responsibilities include, answering phone calls scheduling and canceling appointments, processing insurance claims, fixing insurance issues if claims will not process correctly, do confirmation calls for the next days appointments, create a list for six-month recalls for patients who have not had their teeth cleaned within the last six months and call to remind them they are due, cleaning duties, check in and check it out, Verifying insurance for all patients, and having a positive attitude for a great experience overall.

-process insurance referrals -fix insurance issues -refill patient prescriptions -send and receive messages from physicians about their patients

This was a shadowing experience that I had my senior year of college. I shadowed the HR director which included:-shadowing meeting and business phone calls -learning about benefits and giving employees information on their benefits -making insurance payments -going through applications of potential employees and narrowing down to the best -offering patients positions -answering all calls and routing them to re correct departments
