Back in the beginning of the 90s I was studying at Umeå University in Sweden, taking the degree “Bachelor of Science” in the field of Sport Pedagogy. At the Department of Education at Umeå University, research in Sport pedagogy has been pursued since the 1970s. Today this research group consists of about 20 teachers and researchers, which makes it one of the largest in Sweden within the humanities and social sciences in Sweden. It was a perfect base for my way forward in life, pursuing an internal call of teaching people to enjoy their body and there for also enjoy life. Many good memories and many wonderful people in my class and the teachers are in my heart forever. Sport means many different things for different people, from performance, entertainment and the quality of a sport being useful or having a serious or important meaning. My own experiences with sports are especially within gymnastics and Tae Kwon-Do where I have been a competitor as well as a teacher. Sport to me is also downhill skiing, golf and dans, being a form og natural and fun movements. The meaningfulness of movement, the awareness of the body and also the sensation of being a team or a group of people that share an interest, are what drives me.As a teacher, coach and trainer I focus on movement, balance, finding easy and basic movements without pain, inspired by my education in “Z-Health Performance” (Brain-based education) and yoga teacher training at “Yoga Skolen i Helsingør”. But I also like to challenge myself with taking Capoeira- and hip-hop classes for fun. The enjoyment of the body and enjoyment in life, is something I like to inspire people around me to appreciate. The way I try to live is by the awareness in the present moment, the possibility to shape my life from this moment, taking the choices that will lead me to an easy but also exciting and developing life.I care about being an inspiration for people around me, helping you, your friends, your staff to feel good and to feel safe in your body and mind. I do this in my yoga classes, outdoor classes, trips with Spies, private coaching, walking events, meditation on-line and in class and more…
