Dmytro is an economist with a decade of professional experience in evidence-based public policy making, structural economic reforms, regional and rural development, private sector and market systems development.Dmytro Lyvch joined CIVITTA in 2018 as a Project Manager and has since been promoted to Partner in 2022 and elected as a Public Stream Board Member in 2021-2023. At CIVITTA, he has developed a public stream in Ukraine and internationally, co-managing a team of over 35 talented Project Managers and Analysts towards implementing 50+ projects in private sector development, market systems development, and public policy. Dmytro has a proven track record of design and implementation of comprehensive economic development consultancy projects through various engagements in both public and private sectors, including reputable clients (USAID, The World Bank, IFC, EC, Embassy of Netherlands, Embassy of Switzerland, Chemonics International, DAI Global, GIZ, etc).Dmytro is also a Chair of the EasyBusiness NGO (a leading Ukrainian free market think tank, which won the European Liberty Award from Atlas Network in 2019 for successful advocacy of the farmland market reform) and a Co-Founder of Centre for Economic Recovery NGO (a prominent Ukrainian platform that is most famous for developing Ukraine’s National Economic Strategy 2030 that the Government adopted in 2020). Dmytro's dedication to effective and efficient public policy has earned him recognition in society, and he continues to make a positive impact on Ukrainian policymaking and strengthen the country's economy. He also served as a pro-bono Advisor to the Prime Minister of Ukraine from 2020-2022 and contributed to the development of several governmental strategic documents.Dmytro Lyvch holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Economics and Marketing and a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
