    I am the Graduate Assistant for the Presidential Leadership Program which is an organization directly from the Presidents office. We provide professional development and leadership events such as our Etiquette Dinners and Fireside Chats where we learn more about being professionals and preparing for life during and after college. Our work in the community has had a great impact on each individual who takes part in these opportunities provided such as volunteering at Habitat for Humanity or at the Ronald McDonald House. Through our meetings with the University President, we are able to discuss current events and topics about our school life and experiences. As the graduate assistant, I direct the planning and execution of events for the undergraduate scholars in the program to further their professional experiences and personal leadership qualities. I actively work to connect the program with on-campus resources like the Alumni and Professional Engagement and the Alumni Association to assist the scholar towards making connections that will help them network. The program is an arterial part of the Universities Honors College which I work very closely with and assist the college with their planning of events as well. I am an alum of the program and served on the executive board from August 2018 to May 2021.
