- Leading the Coordination Office on Children’s Rights for the implementation of the CoE strategy on the rights of the child in Germany- Main topics in advocacy and project work: child-friendly justice/access to justice for children, rights of migrant and refugee children, child participation and child rights in the digital environment.

• Strengthened the capacity of Plan country offices and CSO partners in policy advocacy and human rights through provision of trainings, tools and information regarding advocacy opportunities• Participated in the development of country strategic plans of country offices • Coordinated the development of regional project proposals and assisted country offices to fundraise for advocacy• Linked Plan country offices to the advocacy work of Plan AU and UN Liaison Offices• Managed a regional programme on state accountability and civil society strengthening • Represented the office in internal working groups as well as externally at regional events• Represented Plan WARO in the consortium of the SIDA funded Pan African Children’s Charter Project• Ensured that Plan’s external communication and campaigns were aligned to its advocacy objectives and rights based

My tasks at Plan Sweden were divided in programme support and in direct lobbying of the Swedish government. • Provided thematic advice in human rights and advocacy for quality insurance of projects and managed the Pan African grant• Provided support to the advocacy work of Plan EU, AU and UN liaison offices • Represented Plan International in the Steering Committee of the international coalition “Ratify OP3CRC” and took the lead for the establishment of a Swedish national coalition • Established close cooperation with a Swedish Member of the European Parliament (chair of the FEMM committee) to give input to resolutions on girls' rights and SRHR• Contributed to stronger capacity in human rights in Plan • Advocacy towards the Swedish Government to influence development policies and positions in international relations including representing Plan in Swedish civil society platforms• Cooperation with Communications department for external messaging
