Undertook this role for the last three years of my university career. Post included playing the hymns and processional music in weekly Sunday services as well as practising with, conducting and accompanying the ten-strong church choir who sang a piece a week. Skills developed include:-An ability to organise and rehearse with a group in a performance environment.-Demonstrate patience and give reassurance to a developing choir.-As well as the six or so hours a week at Hope Park, I also covered as the organist of its sister church Strathkinness Parish Church on a weekly basis for eighteen months.

Worked at a handful of music festivals erecting giant illuminated flowers on sites around the UK, as well as constructing the various components of the flowers back at the warehouse. Skills include:Versatility to work in a crew of five or six one day, as well as single-handedly oversee my own projects the next.Answer to varying festival authorities on a week-by-week basis and address their concerns and ideas.

Completed four enjoyable seasons of summer marquee work, starting from 2014 when I left school and ending in 2017 having gained a useful knowledge of manual labour with an ever-changing personnel. Skills include:-Working in a health and safety-aware company.-Patience and diligence working up to 6 days and/or 70 hours a week.-Being part of a fluctuating team in which tasks were delegated on a daily basis and the ability to learn on the job.-Taking a customer's thoughts and needs into account.

Sang five evenings and a Sunday morning service a week while working as a gap-student music teacher during the day. As well as improving my choral skills, the role included frequent accompaniment on the organ in my role as a Cathedral Organ Scholar.
