Investigating the potential for automobile dealership carsharing and subscriptions in Canada for GTS - a world leader in mobility technology that powers dealership-based carsharing and subscription services all over the world. They were established in 2012, and customers include Toyota, General Motors and Tata Motors.

Provided strategic input, project management and TDM expertise to the Public Health, Transportation and Planning Departments for planning, design, stakeholder relations and communication efforts to integrate a health-based rationale for informing land-use and transportation planning to improve public health.

Researched, developed, implemented, maintained and monitored project plans for various Transportation Demand Management (TDM) and public transit initiatives. Managed the service agreement with a local not for profit transportation management association – Smart Commute and led program development and contract negotiations to establish a car-share service pilot project.

Successfully managed stakeholder consultations and business planning to establish a transportation management association (TMA) Smart Commute to serve businesses in Markham and Richmond Hill. Supported the introduction of TDM requirements for land develop approvals and reviewed development applications. Project Manager for the development and implementation of the Cycling, Pathways and Trails Master Plan. Secured $4 million in Provincial funding and managed the Environmental Assessment for the Rouge Valley Trails project. Partnered with the Green Communities Association, University of Toronto, Public Health and School Boards to create a School Travel Planning framework and model program to support active transportation in Ontario schools.

Introduced the principals and practices of TDM to the City of London residents, businesses and community associations. Developed partnerships with community groups, school boards, public health units and safety associations to promote Active and Safe Routes to School program. Initiated and coordinated transportation forums and seminars. Established an employee carpool and transit program and managed the installation of an employee bicycle parking area. Conducted reviews and recommended strategies to promote transportation alternatives. Prepared promotional materials including; bill inserts, newsletters, posters and presentations. Coordinated the development of the Travel Wise web site and on-line ride matching services for carpooling.

Responsible for the research, development, budgeting, implementation, and management and marketing associated with a $500,000 annual water use efficiency program for a wholesale and retail water utility with a service population of 320,000. Created partnerships and developed knowledge exchange and training opportunities to encourage water use efficiency with the BC Irrigation Industry and the Build Owners and Managers Association (BOMA).

Designed and managed residential and multi-residential waste reduction and recycling programs. Administered public consultation initiatives to support Provincial Product Stewardship legislation including container deposits and user pay waste disposal. Administered a partnership agreement with a not-for-profit society to deliver compost education services and volunteered for two years as the society's President. Managed environmental education volunteer speaker’s bureau, Closing the Loop school program, Green Shopper consumer education campaign, print media - Environews, Waste Watch column. Managed the process and quality monitoring for a 15,000 tonne/year garden material windrow compost facility. Represented the Capital Regional District as a Director and member of local, provincial and National recycling and composting committees and boards.

Working with City Farmer - Canada's Office of Urban Agriculture provided education and training for residents of Greater Vancouver interested in backyard composting and organic gardening.

Forest nursery grow team member for a 30 acre greenhouse operation - managed and carried out irrigation, fertilization and pest management activities. Conducted crop monitoring and quality control for tree seedling harvest operations.

Managed the Thunder Bay Forest District forest nursery - harvest and stock shipment program.
