Research:Nowadays metallic materials are widely used in every stuctures. The behavior of a specimen at macrocopic scale is a results of smaller mechanism at phases, grain and dislocation scale. These mechanism have to be taken into account in models if we want to be predictive. But for now characterization of microscopic events at small scales during big deformation remains not so simple. My work is thus composed of two fields:1) The experimental analysis of metallic material at different scales with several techniques such as diffraction (X rays, synchrotron, neutron), tensile test, speckle laser interferometry, DIC, nanoindentation2) The multi scale modelisation of mechanical behavior at large strains.
