About Léon Jansen

I am committed to make people and the planet more healthy. My strong analytical and strategic capabilities give me the opportunity to work on many different subjects. For over 30 years I work on health and sustainability issues, with a focus on food safety, food composition, consumer choices and industry / retail CSR-activities. The last 3 years I am also focusing on the stimulation of biodiversity in agriculture and the reduction of methane and nitrogen emission in animal farming. The Sustainable Development Goals deliver the framework to work on these challenges. Also in my private time, I like to contribute to sustainable and health. Therefor I work as a volunteer for the Oasebos Foundation and give indoor training to mentally disabled persons from the Waag Fondation.
