As a section commander at the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) from 2023-2024, I was responsible for responding to emergency calls and dealing with life-threatening situations at hand, such as fires, accidents, and hazardous incidents. I also write reports, conduct enforcement actions, and supervise my team members. With the help of my colleagues and mentors, I have developed strong skills in communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership.I completed my A-levels from Tampines Meridian Junior College in February 2022, where I studied physics, mathematics, economics, and general paper. I have a keen interest in learning new languages and cultures, and I have self-taught myself Python programming as a hobby. I am motivated by the opportunity to serve my country and community, and to contribute to the safety and well-being of the public. I aspire to continue my education and career in the field of data science, where I can apply my technical and interpersonal skills to solve complex and meaningful challenges.
