Profile bio

About M. Sanchez

During my Teach for America service, I made time to experience a new place through biking, running, hiking, camping, and systematically walking each metro stop along DC's Blue Line. Working at a community school piqued my interest in a potentially transformative schooling model. To learn about spatial interventions in education, I joined the AIA|DC Committee on Architecture in Education. All of this culminated in pursuing a Master's Program in Community and Regional Planning. As I unlock more planning skills, I'm able to apply needed expertise towards developing communities by improving public education.
