I began my professional career in libraries, merging my interests literary and technological. In over a decade spent with Jackson County Library Services I handled computer hardware and desktop support and patron technical outreach. This rewarding work allowed me to assist those with a desire to use technology but lacked the background to just pick up a device and start going. As part of that initiative I spearheaded the development of educational video content and in-house production. This passion project eventually led to a transition into more direct marketing efforts to assist locally and wider spread, especially in a post-pandemic world.I furthered my video production work in other avenues including marketing and documentary productions for EnerTribe, Inc., and DBS Auto Shop’s Backyard Dude YouTube series.In the midst of this I also wrote and published a novel, "Rights of Power," and the novella "Dues of Nature" under the pen name Michael Alan Claybourne.
