PHEC-funded project “A Portable and low-cost Microwave Head Imaging System for Brain Stroke Detection”. Supervisor: Dr. Muhammad Zubair, Co-Supervisor: Dr. Muhammad Qasim Mahmood Tested and verified the results in simulation setup using CST before moving to hardware development. Designed the hardware model of the setup using Autodesk fusion 360 and antenna using CST for sensing. Automated the whole process from data acquisition to image reconstruction process using Python and Matlab. Collected datasets for stroke conditions at different locations for the training and comparative analysis of different Machine learning algorithms with our proposed Deep Neural Network architecture.

Also assisted in preparing and proctoring examinations.

As a visiting researcher at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), I have had the privilege of contributing to cutting-edge research in Bio-Medical Engineering fields: Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) and Biomedical Imaging. My work at KAUST has been driven by a deep-seated passion for advancing our understanding of the human brain and developing innovative medical imaging techniques to enhance healthcare outcomes.One of the distinguishing features of my research at KAUST has been the integration of interdisciplinary approaches, drawing upon the diverse expertise available at the institution. I have had the privilege of working alongside world-class scientists, and engineers, fostering a dynamic environment for innovation and discovery. The state-of-the-art laboratories and resources at KAUST have been instrumental in conducting experiments, simulations, and data analysis crucial for advancing our research in both BCI and Biomedical Imaging.
