• I have been a part of the construction of two £210M EPC 380/110 kV double circuit overhead transmission line projects of Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) having a total length of 528.61 km. I assisted in all the phases.
• Closely worked with the project manager to plan, estimate and deliver engineering strategy and project activities within budgets and time.
• Reviewed tender documents, bill of materials, project scope, and standards to maintain a high level of project compliance with desired specifications.
• Provided electrical engineering and technical services by reviewing and rectifying comments from clients on sag tension calculations, plan and profile drawings, tower outline diagrams, and other design submittals in.
• Effectively managed site materials and ensured their effective and timely delivery on project sites by producing accurate and current procurement schedules and cost reports.
• Assisted in the preparation of purchase orders and variation orders by providing concise and accurate feedback on project performance to the relevant departments.

Yanb’u Al-Bahr Governorate, Saudi Arabia

• During this period, I worked at site on the construction of 380/110 kV double circuit Yanbu Umlujj OHTL project.
• Responsible for implementing the design and specifications of overhead lines during the assembly/erection of towers and stringing of conductors while maintaining company safety and environmental procedures.
• Ensured continuous improvement in quality by the implementation of quality control plans in accordance with the SEC standards and procedures.
• Successfully carried out the conductor tie in activities to substations by understanding substation equipment layouts and bay numbers.

• My work at DESCON consists of two phases where I was introduced to the designing and procurement activities of the respective departments.
• Introduced to the DIALux software for designing lightening systems. Moreover, I assisted in carrying out cable size, transformer size and designing of earthing systems.
• Prepared and effectively delivered presentation on earthing systems which includes their designing, earthing equipment’s and suppliers and these presentations were included as a part of graduate engineer trainee program.
• Improved my negotiation skills by assisting procurement team in preparation of price comparison sheets after negotiating prices from suppliers.
