Consultant & Scientist supporting ERM's Transaction Advisory, Climate Change, and Geospatial service lines. - Main point of contact for physical climate risk due diligence in ERM’s Transaction Advisory practice; leads physical climate change risk assessments, assessing proposed investments against potential material climate hazards. Key activities include conceptualization of GTM solutions, product roadmap design, external partner relations, project leadership, and upskilling staff to use Earth Engine. - Conducts TCFD-aligned climate transition risk and opportunity assessments; collaborates with clients and internal stakeholders to understand the company’s business model, strategy, and enterprise risk management framework in order to develop low-carbon climate-resilient solutions. Collaborated with Dr. Kelley Crews to create and publish course materials for GRG 440L - Landuse/Landcover Change Practicum at the University of Texas at Austin. The course is designed in Google Earth Engine to teach best practices for classifying and mapping land use and land cover, as well as how they change over time in an experiential learning environment. Students taking the course are empowered to develop testable hypotheses answered by the original data analysis and interpretation.Google Earth Engine is a computing platform that allows users to run geospatial analysis on Google's infrastructure. Google Earth Engine combines a multi-petabyte catalog of satellite imagery and geospatial datasets with planetary-scale analysis capabilities. - Utilized in-situ vegetation data, public satellite imagery, and drone imagery to study savanna vegetation dynamics in southern Africa- Calculated area of vegetative cover and volume of browsable biomass of a private game reserve using drone imagery to inform management decisions on animal stocking rates. - Analyzed the effectiveness of clear-cutting for invasive woody plant species removal to combat bush encroachment. Monitored ecosystem recovery time following bush fires in the Kalahari using NASA Earth Observations. - Created 3-D models to visualize vegetation growth using Python.- Prepared and taught a 10-week course on remote sensing techniques in Google Earth Engine.

- Participated in a 6-week practical research experience under remote conditions in Ghanzi, Botswana while taking relevant coursework in climate change, ecosystems, and human dynamics. - Conducted field surveys and utilized drone photogrammetry to quantify native vegetation response to changing climatic conditions. - Immersed in a new culture to analyze human-wildlife conflict situations and propose solutions in a creative capacity.

Project: Utilizing NASA Earth Observations to Classify Ground Cover Types in the Mark Twain National Forest | NASA Applied Sciences-------------------------DEVELOP, part of NASA’s Applied Sciences Program, addresses environmental and public policy issues through interdisciplinary research projects that apply the lens of NASA Earth observations to community concerns around the globe. Bridging the gap between NASA Earth Science and society, DEVELOP builds capacity in both participants and partner organizations to better prepare them to address the challenges that face our society and future generations.

Curated and presented sustainability resources at general meetings to educate students at the University of Texas about sustainable lifestyle practices. Consulted with over 25 student organizations to provide composting and recycling services to execute Zero-Waste events. Hosted monthly West Campus Clean Up volunteer events in collaboration with Keep Austin Beautiful, collecting over 50lbs of litter from the UT campus each month.

Coordinated the education and execution of the organization's philanthropic and service efforts regarding the national philanthropy, domestic violence awareness and prevention. Collaborated with the local organization, the SAFE Alliance, to organize volunteer opportunities. Managed appropriate documentation, like organizational and donation paperwork, to execute philanthropy events. Raised over $125,000 for the SAFE Alliance during my term in support of their mission to "stop abuse for everyone."
