A tenured librarian dedicated to making education more affordable for CSUF students by helping faculty find, evaluate, and adopt freely accessible and sustainable learning solutions. Promotes open access and education to campus community via outreach and partnerships with campus, consortial, and state-wide partners. Serves as the liaison to Liberal Studies, Women's and Gender Studies, and Queer Studies departments, providing them with collection development, research, and information literacy services.

Taught one section per semester of WGS1010: Gender & Society

Managing, promoting, and organizing the College's institutional repository, Merrimack ScholarWorks. Serving as faculty and student liaison to scholarly communication topics like copyright, publishing, author's rights, open access, and open educational resources. Serving as the library liaison to Women's and Gender Studies and History departments, and the college honors program I provided collection development, research services, and planned and taught an average of 20 information literacy sessions per semester.

Oversaw library operations during evening and weekend hours, including opening and closing the library and overseeing staff. As a member of the instruction team I coordinated, planned, and taught an average of 14 sessions per semester in various academic disciplines.

Provided research assistance to undergraduate and graduate students from all academic disciplines through a variety of mediums, including instant messaging. Oversaw graduate students assistants and information technology student workers during evening shifts.

Provided reference and instruction services to students in the school of education. Provided circulation services for library materials.

Provided reference and readers advisory services to adult and young adult patrons. Selected materials for the adult graphic novels and comics collection.

Designed and enacted a digitization and transcription project with a focus on the letters of George Turner, contained in the C. Fiske Harris Civil War and Slavery Monograph Collection.
