As CEO and founder of EPIC Service, an Engineering Design and training consultancy based in Thailand and Australia, I bring a strong people and project focused skillset to the table, specialising in strategic planning, professional service delivery, project costing and management, and labour force management and development. Collaboration is key to EPIC Service’s success; collaboration between management and Crew, investors and stakeholders, across disciplines and national boundaries. As a skilled negotiator and outcome driven professional, I work to deliver the right outcome while maintaining professional standards and processes from project inception to delivery.

As principal designer and director at Studio Landscape, I was responsible for designing and implementing all aspects of commercial and residential projects, both big and small. Skills and responsibilities included background and location research, process documentation, design development and project management.As well as exercising my design and project management skills, my role required: advanced people management skills, including the recruitment and supervision of all sub-contractors; supply chain and cost management responsibility; negotiation with relevant authorities; and, adherence to professional standards, and government and industry requirements.

I conceived and incorporated WALDA, an association formed to represent and promote qualified landscape professionals in Western Australia. I wrote the Constitution and Code of Ethics, recruited committee members, ran meetings and implemented membership drives. Created in answer to the apparent need for a coordinating professional body, WALDA became an industry standard setter and spokesperson, lobbying for important professional causes such as a comprehensive Fertiliser Action Plan and participating in the Water Corporation’s working party to establish water conservation recommendations for the relevant State Government minister.
