As a recent BCom Finance graduate from the University of Calgary, I am passionate about finance and capital markets, and eager to apply my skills and knowledge to real-world challenges. During my studies, I gained valuable experience as an Investment Analyst at DeNovo Student Investment Fund, where I conducted equity research across various sectors, screened potential buy and sell opportunities, and delivered effective pitch decks and presentations to fund chairs. I achieved a 7.69% return on Stryker Healthcare Corp. through in-depth analysis and strategic decision-making, demonstrating my ability to generate value and insights from data. In addition to my academic and professional experience, I have pursued multiple certifications to enhance my understanding of financial theory and expand my technical competencies. I have completed courses covering data analysis, valuation, coding, and portfolio management techniques, which have equipped me with the required skills to succeed in a variety of roles. I am also a CFA Level 1 Candidate, and plan to obtain my designation in February 2024. My goal is to strive for a career that constantly challenges and motivates me to excel, and allows me to utilize my diverse range of skills. Outside of my finance interests, I am an avid hockey player, and enjoy hiking in the mountains.
