I am an accounting Specialist working for Securityhunter, Inc., and I enjoy that my work helps support Securityhunter's mission to help secure our nation's facilities.I find purpose in pushing myself to tackle new experiences, in the journey to grow into a competent professional, who makes a positive impact in service to others. For education, I went to the University of Maryland, College Park, and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Government and Politics.I personally developed through my time in the Boy Scouts, and gained experience leading the Troop. While in College I had the privilege to intern with the Social Entrepreneur Corps in Ecuador, with the Transportation Security Administration's Office of Global Strategies, and with the International Rescue Committee's office in Silver Spring, MD. Meanwhile, I devoted time to serve in the University's Student Judiciary, and I was involved in two service clubs, Humanity First and Beyond Shelter. I also found the privilege of being able to TA for the government and politics department's class in Game Theory. I feel that these experiences have significantly helped me develop my listening, planning, intercultural and effective communication, and analytical thinking skills.I am looking to continue growing and acquiring skills and experiences that will help me meaningfully contribute to, and make a positive difference in this world.
