This role acts as an interface between Customer Experience (CX) and stakeholders. Main responsibility is to define and support a program to improve CX and quality of services.This means:- monitor processes from a quality perspective- drive the changes within the CEX analysis framework for CS and the rest of Sunrise- assist with the implementation of an analysis & reporting environment- propose recommendations and translate them into improvement actions and track their implementationRange of raised questions/issues is quite broad and so is the toolkit used to address them. Sometimes speaking to right people is enough, another time advanced NLP techniques need to be used (spaCy, word2vec, doc2vec). Whenever data-wrangling is required, my option of choice is Python (Pandas, Matplotlib etc).

This role forms part of a on-site team supporting one of Google’s main product - Google Search, or more specifically - reconciliation of Knowledge Engine.Reconciliation (aka Reckon) is a horizontal effort trying to make all data sources (verticals) to be transformed in a way that delivers highest possible data quality used to feed the Google Search.Main duties are related to new data batches, analyzing if those new ‘epochs’ show improved (or at least the same) data quality in terms of recall/precision. Another aspect of quality control is bug tracking along with manual point-fixes, when needed.

I'm working in Pricing and Promotions team, part of the wider EU Analytics which is responsible for understanding, analyzing and quantifying the different elements of the revenue streams on the marketplace. Most of my time is dedicated to operational support for manual promos run in UK, DE, FR, IT & ES markets (seller targeting, crediting, ad-hoc escalations). This also includes creating back-end infrastructure & logic for new type of promos (so called 'evergreen' ), not handled by eBay default promo platform.Another part of duties (around 20% of time) are related to analytical activities. Core duties include providing automation solutions to connect MS Office package (mainly Excel) & SAP financial system. Since both platforms are using the same scripting language it is possible to create macros that get some info from SAP, or other way round - put some info into it. So typical scenario is posting something into SAP (based on xls spreadsheet) or pull out a report from SAP into Excel and then manipulate it (like weekly KPI calculations).In other words - my job is to eliminate manual work done in our dept.I'm also a project team member for a 'Transfer Price Tool'​ - aim is to simplify flow of information (approvals, scope download etc - 'one click'​ approach) and eliminate manual errors opportunities for onshore partners during transfer price updates (data validation & consistency check). Later on this info gets uploaded to SAP and consolidated into main report file.Another part of the role is to run an Excel/VBA Focal Point Group.This means providing mentoring & training opportunities for other co-workers to improve skills within this area across whole department.Excel Focal Point duties also include 'VBA Networking'​ initiative - idea is simply to make other Shell centres (Kuala Lumpur, Manilla, Glasgow & Chennai) familiar with VBA automation solutions, so they could bulid up programming skills to a level when they will be able to improve the process without Cracow help.
