David Vaughn is a member of the National Academy of Arbitrators and a full-time labor and employment arbitrator, mediator and fact-finder resolving labor and employment disputes in the private, public, and federal sectors and in the airline and railroad industries. He has experience in grievance arbitration, interest arbitration, employment arbitration, grievance and employment mediation and fact-finding and ERISA/MPPAA disputes. He serves as a sole arbitrator and as the neutral member of tripartite panels. He has extensive experience with in-person as well as videoconference arbitration and mediation proceedings.Mr. Vaughn is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School, a former Member of NAA’s Board of Governors, a Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, Past President of the National Association of Railroad Referees and Member of the American and District of Columbia Bar Associations. He is listed on the FMCS and NMB rosters of arbitrators as well as AAA labor and employment arbitration, employment mediation, ERISA/MEPPA and large/complex case panels. He has been a faculty member for Labor Arbitration Institute since 2007 and an Instructor for FMCS Institute 2022-2023.
