I am a 30 year old Portuguese engineer with a MSc degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering fromTechnical University of Lisbon. I wrote my Masters' Thesis in Privacy-Preserving Speech Emotion Recognition, which uses concepts from machine learning and data mining to cryptography and privacy with a grade of 19/20. I did some researching work in speech mining at INESC-ID where i, along with two other fellow researchers, submitted an article to ICASSP 2018 regarding secure machine leaning as a service. The name os this article is "Exploring Hashing and Cryptonet based Approaches for Privacy-Preserving Speech Emotion Recognition" and is currently under review. I am very hardworking with a hands-on attitude, easygoing and curious-minded with a great need to learn. Moreover, I’m a flexible team player and quick learner. Most recently I have been working at Vodafone as a Senior E2E Network Analyst at Vodafone Germany where I have improved my technical and non-technical skills, such as problem solving, leadership, fast-learning, proactivity and many others.Apart from my academic life, I am a very creative and active person with a passion for music. I loveplaying guitar and singing, which has been my main hobby ever since I got my first guitar at 14. I also enjoy hanging out with friends and travelling.
