Biomedical Engineering Technologist
Current- Services, installs, maintains, and repairs all medical equipment including the following; medical, lab, and electronic medical equipment safely and promptly.
- Performs incoming inspections, testing and validation on all new equipment and newly arrived equipment that has been serviced outside the organization, and maintains an up-to-date incoming inspection and service record.
- Performs preventive maintenance tasks, maintains PM records, and participates in Department Quality programs and initiatives.
- Maintains competence by participating in departmental equipment training programs.
- Works with the other Biomedical Electronics Technologists in the organization to ensure a safe environment for staff, visitors and donors.
- Participates in Project work and other duties as assigned.
