This position will be responsible for the coordination and oversight of activities of Patient Service Centers within an assigned area. The PSC Coordinator will work closely with the PSC staff, management, as well as the laboratory staff and clients to ensure optimal operation of the Patient Service Center. The position will also perform phlebotomy and specimen processing procedures at LabCorp Patient Service Centers under minimal supervision.

Traveling to various locations around the of Alabama, Perform Venipunctures, Customer care, operation of lab equipment(centrifuge), data entry, supply ordering, tasking patients to assigned area, preparing specimens for pick up, responsible for all labs sent out, calling patients for recollect, making sure all documents are signed and dated, and making sure all labs have been sent and performed.

Supervising a team of three (including me), Perform Venipunctures, Customer care, operation of lab equipment(centrifuge), data entry, supply ordering, tasking patients to assigned area, preparing specimens for pick up, responsible for all labs sent out, calling patients for recollect, making sure all documents are signed and dated, and making sure all labs have been sent and performed.

Assist Internist and Physicians with acute and urgent care patients, surgical procedure, x-ray, and phlebotomy, administer medications, and administer vaccines, IV insertions, operation of lab equipment, kit testing, Pre-Cert, Prior Authorization, and call in prescriptions as ordered by physician

Assist patients with ADLs as well as obtaining vitals every four hours, recording intake and output, and range of motion. Maintain a healthy and safe working environment for patient, visitors, and staff members.

Assist Internist with surgical procedure, x-ray, and phlebotomy, administer medications, and administer vaccines, IV insertions, operation of lab equipment, kit testing, Pre-Cert, Prior Auth, and call in prescriptions as ordered by physician.

Assisted Physicians with acute and urgent care patients, surgical procedure assistant, x-ray, phlebotomy, administered medications, administered vaccines, IV insertions, and operation of lab equipment, kit testing, and sending prescriptions as ordered by physician.

Assisted Endocrinologist and Internist with surgical procedures, x-ray, phlebotomy, administered medications, administered vaccines, IV insertions, operation of lab equipment, kit testing, Pre-Cert, Prior Auth, and sending prescriptions as ordered by physician.
