As a nanotech PhD with expertise in (S)TEM and catalysis, I am passionate about bridging the gap between different scientific fields and applying my knowledge to design and characterize novel materials for energy applications. I obtained my PhD in Nanotechnology at University of Trieste, where I worked on catalytic materials for fuel cells and electrolyzers under the supervision of prof. Paolo Fornasiero.After completing my PhD, I joined Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR) as a (S)TEM operator, where I deepened my skills in electron microscopy and contributed to several projects on batteries and fuel cell materials. I am grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse and talented team of researchers and to learn from their insights and feedback. I am always eager to explore new challenges and opportunities in the field of renewable energy (in particular energy storage). To this end, I just started a Master in European project writing and management to understand the european framework for research and innovation. I am exited for what comes next!
