Project Manager – Project Management, Business Analysis, Migration, Delivery and TransformationSuccessfully delivered several system/ data migration and re-platforming projects.

• Programme-managed multiple successful projects for the creation, development and enhancement of enterprise-wide fund, regulatory and investment reporting systems and processes; these collectively resulted in increased efficiency, streamlining of processes, greater capacity, simplification and cost savings. Responsibilities included planning and resourcing all projects and tasks, leading and managing each stage of the project, and hands-on involvement with the development, operation and support teams, all whilst liaising with the business sponsors. Some of the notable projects include: ► Managing and converting all applicable GAM share classes to compliance with MIFID II (over 800 classes) in just over 5 months (2017 – 2018).► Project management of the merging of suites of investment reporting applications into a single enhanced investment reporting system for both vanilla and bespoke fund types and creation of multiple data staging interfaces sourcing data from numerous sources. increasing volumes from ~400 to over 6,500 monthly reports in compliance with MIFID II (2019 – 2020).• Product owner and manager responsible for the investment reporting systems producing all of GAM’s monthly fact sheets reports. ► Configuration, customisation and creation of multiple fact sheet data structures for new fund types including: Fund of Hedge Funds, Long Only, Fixed Income, Single Manager Hedge, Composite, Strategy, GIPS, Leverage, MPS, MBS, Credit Ops, Talentum and Star Lux funds (2003 – 2020).• Directed, steered and implemented the investment proposal automation, and took part in the system development solution for client and institutional sales teams (2016 – 2017). • Managed and participated in the development of an internal KIID system, transitioning from outsourced manual production of KIIDs to an automated in-house process, resulting in subsequent multiple successful KIID annual updates and significant reduction in costs and time (2014 – 2016).

• Responsible for enhancing the deployment process, for the CATS-OS trading system, enabling new installation and integration of system components into the market makers and distributors in the shortest time.► Managed both development, UAT and support staff, as well as training of Lehman Brothers & Citibank traders to optimally use the system.► Managed and formed good relationships with Market Makers and distributors and co-ordinated internal and external teams and resources.► Over the course of 3 months, migrated UBS Warburg, Lehmans Brothers, JP Morgan, Deutsche Bank, Merrill Lynch, Citibank, Goldmans Sachs and Schnigge AG internally from VAX to NT on the CATS-OS system whilst trading using live and pseudo trading branches simultaneously.► Integrated Citibank, JP Morgan, Merrill Lynch and Lehmans Brothers Rate Feeds and all related CATS-OS trading components in 4 months, receiving an award from Crossmar for doing so.► Successfully installed new market makers ABN Amro and Morgan Stanley Dean Witter from pre-sales to implementation.► Formed strong client relationships with all London market makers enabling CATS-OS to be entrenched within these organisations and increase trading volumes through proper utilisation.

• Responsible for managing and reporting on large government book, transforming it from a state of disarray to stabilisation.• Provided essential data clean-up and reporting information to the government.• Implemented processes to facilitate day-to-day managing, reporting and streamlining greenfield operations in a very short time.

• Head of Network & Infrastructure for eCompany - streamlined network operations and reduced network costs. Built and managed a cohesive network team.• Project-managed Livebet (Spread Betting System) during go-live stage with its first clients in both South Africa & Malaysia.• Obtained sign-off from retail clients Mattress Factory and Homemark after taking over responsibility for the projects. The sign off from both clients was overdue for close to a year prior to my involvement.• Implemented CRM system for eCompany's IVERI product (secure electronic payments system) in 3 months.• Developed EDM Universe, a powerful Internet-based system for the sale of retail unitised financial products (Unit Trusts).• IT Manager for both development & operations teams• Delivered in 3 months the Broker Asset management module (for Universe) with a messaging interface as development manager. • IT Manager for EDM Solutions provided consultation on strategies, architecture and support.

• Launched Investec Marketmaker, a comprehensive, interactive, internet based foreign exchange dealing system.• Delivered a front-end dealing solution for Treasury, handling FX and Money Market instruments.• Project Managed and implemented Corona, automating the whole Treasury reconciliation process.• Investigated Investec‘s lending needs for the Investec group, provided a business specification for the group.• Enhanced the ‘Finance System’, the system used to handle all of Investec’s loans.

• Developed a Health Insurance Savings, Loans, and Daily Interest module for Altron group, which became a standard business practice for the Industry.• Developed a hierarchical reporting and aggregation system for City Properties enabling them to report and manage their properties more efficiently and highlighted potential problems.

• Developed and delivered a CRM system for the Council for Scientific Research (CSIR).• Created an enhanced greenfield client interface for the CRM system, which enabled CSIR users to load clients more efficiently and swiftly, which was well received by users.
