Responsible for delivering high quality bids and diversifying Aktis' client base. Manage a team of up to six staff to ensure technical and regional teams are supported to identify and secure new contracts in line with client requirements. This includes effective analysis of client needs and policy trends to inform structure and content of bids. Assess opportunities for profitability and probability of success to ensure resources are invested correctly to secure sustainable contracts. Approve all commercial proposals, assessing their accuracy and that they achieve established targets. Build effective partnerships with potential leads and sub contractors that is mutually rewarding. Manage client engagement with core clients through building relationships with senior head office client staff and supporting engagement with client embassies through Aktis country offices. Support provision of training across Aktis on the business development life cycle and best practices on bid management. Drive commercial strategy across the business in partnership with the Finance Director. Member of the Senior Management Team leading day to day management of the business.
