Planning& Procurement-Planning and procurement for the projects corresponding to Order handling engineer assigned, the job has co-ordination with imports team for planning and arrival of import materials pertaining to particular project also includes all indigenous items including wide range of electrical and mechanical items, planning based on data from used ERP(SAP) and procurement as per terms and norms of the company. Ensuring on time availability of components for assembly an dispatch, planning well in advance for long lead items ,also taking care of project related IT componentsPlanning the components based on AMR arrives qty and based on Special requirements.Preparation of Request for Quotation in SAP.Sending purchase enquiry’s / Tender to various approved / registered sub-vendors along with necessary documents and Maintaining records of the same.Opening of Tenders on due date, obtaining Technical Clearance of quotations from Engineering dept.Preparation of Purchase Proposal on L1 suppliers for approval & placement of PO (Purchase Orders).Purchase order generation / PO amendment along with commercial terms & condition in SAP and Oracle system.Materials follow up with vendors for in time delivery.Vendor management and Vendor development -ensure on time payment to the supplier by on time bill booking, Vendor master maintenance , Vendor code creationContribution to Team-Playing role of back up and providing additional help to other team members in times of need, when load is peak due to sudden inflow of projects, contributing to monthly receipts of commodities in required quantities as per planDocumentation- Maintaining necessary documentations like signed purchase orders, quotations, Price list of the department and ensuring validity of the same. Have also played a part in streamlining payables to Vendor
