Data scientist with 15 years’ experience in the development and application of data-based analytical methods to improve decision-making. My colleagues knows me for my natural leadership, emotional intelligence, empathy, honesty and for someone who often volunteers for a new challenge. I often serve as a two-way bridge between researchers and diverse stakeholders. I am particularly interested in engaging stakeholders and communities to co-create models that lead to insights and recommendations. I have published 34 peer-reviewed papers which have been cited over 1700 times and attracted considerable media attention in major UK newspapers (the Guardian, the Telegraph, the Independent) I am passionate about extracting insights from data and looking to be part of a team in the development and implementation of data science tools to generate real and meaningful solutions.
