Others have described me as motivated, strong work ethic, concerned for others, extremely diligent, skilled and nurturing with at-risk students, dedicated to students, will go the extra lengths to see that students succeed, receptive to new ideas and is proactive in creating a positive work environment. School settings allowed me to be on similar schedules as my children while they were in school. Now I wish to return to the administrative assistant/customer service field which I really enjoyed before teaching. Many of the skills that I used in the classroom transfer easily to the business environment such as program mgmt. (annual, monthly, weekly & daily lesson planning - start with the end in mind so I knew forward direction), data collection and reporting to administrators and parents, communication skills for diverse population, advised and adapted materials for modification as well as collaboration with colleagues to meet goals successfully.
