It argues that the growth of superapps like Messaging apps has made other apps such as map, routing, and etc to be installed less compared to the past because these superapps are trying to get more user engagement by providing variety of services. Despite of inclination, Intelligent Personal Assistant and Online shopping apps are exceptions and their slope are ascending yet.At that time, in Iran there were many online shopping apps but not any IPA. Moreover, personally speaking, intelligent assistant is the only service which all giant tech companies are working on at the time like Google, Amazon, IBM, Intel, Facebook, Microsoft, Samsung, Huawei, and etc. I don't know of any other service that is as important. This got me diving into the Intelligent Assistant field in order to provide, for the first time, a Persian Intelligent Assistant (we named it Bato). After many challenging meetings, I raised the seed fund and started that journey with Dr. Ali Zarezade who joined me as a co-founder. He was working on ML part of the product and I was working on back-end (Java Spring Platform) and product side of Bato. All stages of team setup, MVP, problem solution fit, and product market fit went well and we ended up with more than 5,000 commands per day through 10+ services we provide our users (like listening to music, catching online taxi, booking ticket, routing, calling & sms, and so on). Also we launched the corporate version of Bato. One of our giant clients reported that by using our chat platform, the number of tickets their support team were supposed to answer fell by 40%.Unfortunately we failed. We needed the next fund raising to scale. But due to the lack of documented SHA with the seed investor we got into trouble to align new investors' right with the former's and finally it fell through.
