I’m a Landscape Architect graduated from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto (2017).Over the last few years I have been developing a greater susceptibility to issues related to landscape ecology and sustainability. For me, the landscape is all that the eye can reach and the mind absorbs. What makes me assign it an extreme importance in the quality of life of all beings and where I can contribute to a harmonious relationship between them.My concerns are related to the problems between urbanism and nature. It is my intention to contribute so that they cease to arise or that they are mitigated. I believe that this should be one of the most important roles of the Landscape Architect - to provide solutions based on nature to solve the current problems, in the most different scales and fields.In this context, I was involved in the Porto’s Fifth Facade Project (a partnership between the portuguese National Association of Green Roofs, ANCV, and the Porto City Council). In this project it was studied and encouraged the installation of green roofs in buildings of the city as a solution to solve problems arising from growing urbanization, with a view to improving the quality of life in cities.As a result of this study, which resulted my master's thesis, the opportunity arose to disseminate this ideology and represent the Academy and the ANCV in an international context through participation in ECLAS, London (2017) and Green Surge, Malmö, Sweden (2017).I try to satiate my interest in these themes by exploring the different landscapes and realities. I have great curiosity and pleasure to explore all the corners of my country and the dream of going beyond borders to widen my horizons on a professional and personal level. Transpose all experiences into what I am and what I do, becoming a better person and consequently a better Landscape Architect, who has the knowledge and tools to make the world a better place.
