Resultant data used to create a web application to identify the location of deceased individuals by querying names, death/birth dates, veteran status, etc.-Georeferencing As-Built drawings and incorporating CAD files into the GIS for mapping features that are not visible via high-resolution imagery.-Update routes for snow removal, leaf collection, and street sweeping.

- Graduate Research Associate Mentoring (GRAM) Program Student- Conducted a GIS and statistical approach to identifying multivariate vulnerability through R scripting and GIS analysis in ArcGIS.- Research guided by Dr. Maggie Sugg, Appalachian State University and Dr. Sandi Lane, Appalachian State University.- Research identifying nursing home vulnerability attributable to location using a triangulated approach that includes historic natural hazards, community vulnerability and nursing home attributes.- Meta-analysis using nursing home facility level data from the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare, community level data from United States Census, and natural hazards data from NOAA, NHC, FEMA, and DHS.- Created a statistical model for validating index scores at multiple scales. Internal validation completed to identify index statistical precision through Monte Carlo simulations in R. External validation completed to identify statistical accuracy through North Carolina death certificate ICD codes and the NOAA Storm Events database.
