An Environment Sensitivity Index Mapping was done using GIS techniques, which provides a concise summary of coastal resources that could be at risk in the event of an oil spill. The risk of oil spill along the coast of Goa was evaluated for proper planning of cleanup strategy in order to minimize the ecological impact of logistical activities related to oil transportation.
