Focus: ▪ To oversee and manage the movement of goods across in the international trade operations of the company.Import responsibilities:▪ Compliance: Ensuring imported goods meet all legal and regulatory requirements, including customs clearance, licensing, and labeling.▪ Documentation & Paperworks: Ensuring that all import activities comply with international trade laws, customs regulations, trade agreements and managing the preparation and submission of necessary documents, such as bills of lading, customs declarations, and certificates of origin.▪ Logistics: Negotiating with Customs Brokers and arranging cargo clearance & transportation (air, sea, land) and delivery to warehouse.▪ Inventory management: Tracking and managing imported goods from arrival, warehousing to distribution.Export responsibilities:▪ Customer research: Analyzing about customers and preparing customer data.▪ Packaging and Labeling: Proper packaging according customer requirments and ensuring complaince during transport and international regulations.▪ Documentation & Paperworks: Preparing & revising Quotations, Proforma Invoice, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, Health Certificates, Other Permits, Free-Trade Certicates and Licenses.▪ Logistics: Analysing Shipping Lines and negotiating freight rates, transit duration, tracking, bill settlements, insurance, local transport, special requests and arranging overall export work for LCL / FCL handling and forwarding.▪ Customer service: Communicating with international customers and resolving any issues that arise.Additionally responsibilities:▪ Managing the team: Used to oversee the team of specialists in areas like Customs Compliance and Documentation, Logistics and Supply Chain Management and Risk Management▪ Stay informed: Staying up-to-date on international trade regulations, economic trends, and changes in shipping and logistics specially delays and sudden schedule changes
