Achievements as Climate Change Specialist:• Previously engaged as the “Unit Head” of Green Climate Fund (GCF) at IDCOL (1st DAE of GCF in Bangladesh), since its accreditation in the year 2017. IDCOL is owned by Economic Relations Division, Ministry of Finance, Government of Bangladesh & is the market leader of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency financing in Bangladesh.• Under the leadership, IDCOL got remarkable achievement for the country in GCF financing. IDCOL got approval of country’s 1st private sector mitigation funding proposal of USD 340.50 million project. Three PPF’s grants got approval that are 1st of its kind in Bangladesh. • IDCOL has a strong active climate change project pipeline addressing both adaptation mitigation/public and private.• Having core engagement as a private sector expert in developing different climate change related national strategy/planning including BCCSAP, NAP, NDC. Etc. Having conducted capacity building training for Adaptation Financing for Government Official under NAP development project of UNDP.• A member of “Financial Appraisal Technical Committee” of Economic Relation Division (ERD) to advise the government of financial decision on climate change fundings like GCF, GEF, AF.
