At UIC Group, I worked as a backend developer, helping build and improve over 40 different projects, including sites like sarafscreening.com, hissa.uz, and marjon.uz. I supported the backend by keeping up with documentation, creating tools for other developers, and improving our Django setup to speed up new projects. I also worked a lot on making Django admin pages more user-friendly, adding custom JavaScript and jQuery features that made it easier for people to use sites like hudud24.uz and marjon.uz.One of the biggest improvements I made was creating a tool to automatically translate files for different languages, which cut down translation time by 85% for our team. I was part of a cross-functional team, collaborating daily with frontend and mobile developers, QA testers, and designers. I also enjoyed sharing tips and helping my teammates whenever they needed a hand.

I started at Prep.uz after winning a programming contest that got me an internship in backend development. During my time there, I learned to build REST APIs using Django Rest Framework and worked on projects like an e-commerce site and a taxi app. For the taxi app, I used PostgreSQL with a special extension (PostGIS) to track locations, and I added real-time features with web sockets so users could see live updates on drivers’ statuses.This internship was a great hands-on learning experience, and it taught me a lot about backend development and building projects that solve real-world problems.
