Michael Oakes, E.I. is a Facilities Engineer at Novo Nordisk. He is proficient in Spanish. Colleagues describe him as "Michael worked for Clinton Medical Clinic over the summer of 2019 as well as over his semester breaks from NC State. He served as an Administrative Assistant by title, but functioned more as a Technical Assistant. He worked directly with me on special projects, which included data-integrity analysis, as well as installing and configuring IT equipment. Michael’s largest accomplishment was assisting me in setting up an inventory management system. Without much direction and oversite, Michael was able to install a complex database system, configure components and create a robust database. This was not a small project, and he exceeded my expectations. His follow-through was impressive. The database is up and running and we now have tracking labels on over 400 pieces of equipment. He even left us with simplified instructions for making updates when he is away at school. Michael is bright, reliable, respectful and most of all trustworthy. His skills and strengths will be missed as he pursues his education and eventual career path. "
