As Director Business, responsibility has been establishing new Customer base, explore new Business Opportunity, Overall Business execution and P&L of the company. In the Telecom, set up Managed services in the Philippines for one of the Conglomerate, which had established relationship with one of the Operators. Was associated with the company for two years successfully, during which understood the country terrain, its present operation challenges, Operators challenges and worked out strategy to address the issue and put a Managed services Team to take up the entire Passive Infra operation across the country of The Philippines.In the domestic market in the Telecom sector, have been associated with services and supply of AMF panels for M/s Ascent Telecom Bangalore . In the Renewable Energy(Solar) established 25MW ground based Solar plant for L&T, Mahindra where the responsibility was in the installation and commissioning of the solar plant. In the roof top solar plant, approx 1 MW has been installed from design stage to commissioning of the entire plant.Business of Air water business product is a niche business line and product, which deals with generating pure drinking water from Atmospheric Air. This product does not require any water source but works on the principal of humidity in the air which is trapped in the product, processed and output is the pure drinking water .

Lineage Power Private Ltd, Bangalore was in the Utility services in the Telecom Industry. As Chief Operating Officer was overall responsible for the Business operation of the company in the Passive Services in the Telecom industry which included the Tower and Fiber . Was responsible for the P&L of the company. The company turnover in the business segment was nearly Rs.100 crores, which included Project execution of Tower installation, Fiber laying as well as the O&M activity of Tower infra equipment and Fiber O&M. This was across the country with Clients like M/s Bharti Airtel, Ms/ American Tower, M/s Vodafone, M/s Idea, M/s Reliance Communication.In addition to Business Operation responsibility, initiated new technology for site operation and control of Fuel expenditure.

As Director- Passive Infra in Ericsson was on the Managed Services project of Ericsson for Reliance Communication account.As Passive Infra Head was responsible for entire passive activities (Fiber and Tower passive Infra) Operation and Maintenance as well as Project execution for additional tenancy. Was responsible for the entire country operation which included the Network uptime, Fuel efficiency, new technology deployment for site operation monitoring, process optimization, best operation and maintenance practices.During the tenure of two years, the network uptime improved from 89% at the time of take over to 95% across the country which benefitted the Operators revenue. Fiber connectivity efficiency improved with minimal cuts due to stringent patrolling and liasoning on the ground, fault repairs were done well in time with quality workmanship which reduced the loss in Fiber, regular training to Fiber FRT team on safety, quality workmanship helped in achieving this target.On the tower passive infra, timely preventive maintenance, cost control, asset management of site, training to technicians helped in ensuring the network uptime improved, operation cost controlled and overall brought in efficiency in the operation.

Joined VIOM Network who are in the Passive Telecom Infrastructure business catering to Telecom Operators in the country as Sr. Vice President- Operations. Responsibility to ensure the Network Uptime of the sites, infra maintenance, tenancy enhancement, energy management and asset management. In addition, Customer satisfaction was another key assignment, as Tenancy enhancement in the Infrastructure sharing had direct impact on the network support and SLA achievement. Responsibility included- Handling O&M P&L and improving EBITA YOY.- Effectively minimize the OPEX at the site YOY.- Facilitating growth in the company’s business operation across the Circles by enhancing the tenancy on existing towers with multiple operators.

Major Highlight is the Acquisition of 17500 towers of Aircel in 2010 which was All Cash Deal of Rs. 8400 Crs.As a Core Team member for this Acquisition, was involved from the initial enquiry bid stage to Final deal closure and concluding it with smooth and seamless asset transition. The Acquisition activity from the initial stage had various milestones as detailed below: RFQ and its responseTechnical discussion/site due diligenceForecast of markets dynamics for site valuation based on expected tenancyContractual finalizationSeamless Transition of the Live Network involving from the planning of Hand over Take over of the Asset, Novation of existing contracts etc.

With the Group’s focus in the Core Sector, the company decided to put up a Mega Coal based Power plant at Mangalore. Since, I was a member of the earlier core project team, my services were taken for setting up this power project, after the Steel plant project was shelved.The Core Responsibilities handled here for this project:Liasoning with Government Bodies for clearances for the project basically the Railways and Port.Handling the technical bid for the Balance of plant which mainly consisted of Coal, Ash and Water system.Handling of various vendors for the above project.Due to Financial closure due to delay from State Government in signing the Power Purchase Agreement and Counter Guarantee, the Power Project is yet to take off.

Essar Group; ESSAR GROUP- HAZIRAI was one of few engineer’s to be associated with the Project team in the set up of Green field 2.5MT Hot Rolled Coil project at Hazira.It was a unique experience building a Green field Steel plant in a record time of 2years plus. Core Responsibility:Structural erection of nearly 10000MT.Equipment erection of nearly 6000 MTPiping (both Hydraulic and Water piping)

Babcock & Wilcox-(Present ABB); During my tenure in this company, I was basically associated in the project related activity in setting up the Power plant. The main exposure was on the structural and boiler installation area. In addition to it, the associated work, up till the commissioning of the Boiler, was being taken care by me.It was indeed an experience, to learn and work on power plants of capacity of 62.5 MW to 210 MW.The main area of work was:Installation activityVendor coordinationQuality workmanshipTimeline/schedules to be maintainedRevenue generation and billingIt was really a unique experience, as I got an opportunity to learn various aspects, which get into the successful project execution process. It was in this company, to start, we were exposed to meet the targets in the installation process and project deadline. To meet the same, background work like coordination, focus on our goal, availability of material, sequence of installation, coordination with the vendors and contractors formed a part of the process, which is very essential, which helped in the smooth project execution
