I am currently pursuing a Masters of Science in Purdue University’s Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering (ABE). I serve as Graduate and Research Assistant for the ABE department. My research is focused on creating and testing learning modules for agricultural workers on how to safely and efficiently operate and service agricultural machinery. As a teaching Assistant I work with at least 50 students each semester. Evolvement in these classes includes teaching labs and lectures, grading assignments, and answering student questions.

Indianapolis

Work at the Indiana State fair before and during beef cattle week in August. During the fair I strive to provide the best possible experience for Dairy Beef members during their show week. Assigning stall spots for 200 plus head of cattle, working as a liaison between the beef exhibitors and the 4-H program, and working to problem solve during the week are all tasks that are performed during the fair and year round. During the year I work to promote the project, educate current and potential exhibitors, and share sale and open show dates to provide exhibitors with as many positive experiences as possible.

Wanatah, In

Working as a farm manager assistant at the family farm provided myself with responsibility starting at a young age. My role on the farm changed as I gained more experience and education. Agriculture machine maintenance, caring for and creating feeding programs for livestock, and working in the field during planting and harvest seasons are all areas of the farm that I have been tasked to work with over the years. Currently I provide knowledge gained from outside experiences by bringing a fresh perspective to the operation.
