About Mohammad Shahedur Rahman (Pmp®, Cisa, Crisc, Clssbb)

I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Texas at Arlington. My research spans across graph-centric security, Machine Learning models, and computing and also works at the intersections of high-performance computing (HPC), security, graph AI, and graph analytics. The goal of my research is to build effective and scalable system solutions to protect the security and privacy of critical software and HPC infrastructures, aiming to push the boundaries of modern computing environments.With over 12 years of expertise in cybersecurity, IT audit, GRC, FinTech, large-scale IT project management, and Big Four consulting, I offer a blend of technical knowledge and strategic insight. I’ve developed robust cybersecurity strategies, managed complex IT audits, ensured regulatory compliance, and led high-impact projects across diverse industries.Prior to my doctoral pursuit, I served as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at BRAC Bank PLC and moreover contributed to critical national projects like the Tier IV National Data Center and BGD e-Gov CIRT projects funded by the World Bank. My experience with IBM and KPMG further honed my cybersecurity, risk management, and IT auditing expertise.
