New product development for next generation cars and products for global and local market requirements.Negotiate pricing agreements for current and new products to meet business goals. Interface with engineering, production, supply chain & Quality for smooth transition of new products into production through order fulfillment. Identify opportunities for localization in early development phase & implement cost opportunities.Proactively work for end of life products and mitigate risk associated with part availability for productionPrepare long term strategy for commodities in line with market requirement and product development team to ensure market expectation for next generation vehicles models on time. Collaborate with suppliers to make sure parts are available on time for production and service requirements.

Category Buyer for Electrical and electronics components : Pressure, Temperature Sensors, Switches(Pressure & temperature), Wiring Harness, Starter & Alternators. Responsible for the category sourcing strategy, supplier commercial and performance management. Primarily supporting Mining, Quary and construction equipment.
