As the primary project manager for the GIS team, I am responsible for defining project scope, budget, objectives, methods, and deliverables in collaboration with management, the sales team, and clients. I represent the GIS team in all company, client, and stakeholder meetings, ensuring clear communication and alignment. My daily tasks included evaluating environmental data of raw materials through various analytical techniques such as: XRD, XRF, dilatometry, chromatography, and more. On a monthly basis, I revised and maintained mineral databases for accuracy and compliance. I received my MS degree at Georgia State University. Due to my passion and enthusiasm for geoscience, I was chosen to be a teaching assistant in Structural Geology, Optical Mineralogy, and Natural Environments of Georgia. My thesis research hypothesized the relation of thermal maturity on structural features in Devonian black shales. American Grove is an online community dedicated to promoting knowledge and experiences of tree care. I served as the web administrator and social media director for over 3 years. Through this position, I could share my appreciation of nature by promoting the health and diversity of the nation's urban canopy through current content development and dissemination. My duties included attending and staffing meetings, volunteer events, and annual conferences.

I spent the summer working under the tutelage of Dr. Miriam Jones on the project: Placing wetland accretion and vegetation in change associated with land-use change and sea-level rise into the Holocene context. I performed various laboratory analyses, including high-resolution measurements of peat properties, elemental analysis, and picking charcoal/plant macrofossils in preparation for stable isotope analysis, radiocarbon dating, and examining species changes with time.
