I got my start in software development by developing ROBLOX games in my early teens. I built several popular games in the space and saw how code could enrich the lives of so many. At the same time, I saw what other developers were building, and it blew my mind; it felt like they were wizards harnessing magic. I realized software development was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.After earning my Computer Science degree, I joined a healthcare startup as a full-stack developer. In this role, I undertook a variety of projects, from developing systems for remote patient monitoring to creating a COVID tracking tool for professional athletes in the Bundesliga. I also rewrote the user creation and activation process, which led to a 90% reduction in errors. The combination of these efforts earned me a promotion to Lead Front End Developer. In this new role, I led the redesign of our core software platform.My career progressed at Kinsta, a cloud-hosting service, where I played a crucial role in updating our technology stack. I significantly enhanced system reliability and customer satisfaction by promoting best practices and a culture of quality. I led a full-scale TypeScript migration, reducing the rate of production errors by 28%.
